INTRODUCTORY TRAINING – an introductory module, a one-day familiarization training course, aimed at those who have not fired rifles or smoothbore shotguns, or those with limited shooting experience, who want to learn the basic principles of firing a long gun, as well as firing while standing, kneeling, and moving. During the course, participants will become familiar with weapons used by, among others, Polish special forces. Each participant wishing to continue their adventure with situational long gun shooting can improve their skills in subsequent training modules offered by GROM GROUP in the system. GST long guns, the first stage of which is BASIC level training.
BASIC, ADVANCED 1, ADVANCED 2 and ADVANCED 3 – main module, 4 one-day basic training courses at various levels of advancement, allowing participants to learn situational shooting with rifles from the ground up. Each basic training course conducted within this module, regardless of the level of advancement, consists of three parts: theoretical, manual, and firing live ammunition. The aim of the training cycle is to enable the acquisition of skills in the safe use of long firearms and accurate fire in various shooting positions while stationary, on the move, and behind cover. Participants also have the opportunity to learn the proper handling of a rifle in emergency situations, such as a weapon jam, the need to change a magazine, or the inability of one hand. Additionally, during each basic training course, smoothbore shotgun shooting is conducted, the aim of which is to acquire basic skills in the use of this type of weapon. Between basic training courses, there is the opportunity to participate in WORKSHOPS, the main goal of which is to repeat and refine shooting skills acquired during the basic level training in which the individual recently participated. WORKSHOPS include training in manual skills and shooting with live ammunition. The duration of the WORKSHOPS is approximately two hours shorter than the basic training due to the exclusion of the theoretical portion. Starting at the ADVANCED 1 level, due to the type of shooting activities covered in the training, each participant is expected to practice elements that were covered in lower levels before proceeding to training. This type of training can be completed independently or under the supervision of specialists. WORKSHOPS are an excellent way to practice and refine manual and shooting skills under the supervision of experienced instructors. However, any additional training, including that completed independently, can only positively impact the level of skills already acquired and is the correct procedure before proceeding to higher level training. Basic training at the ADVANCED 3 level concludes with a practical test to assess acquired shooting skills. Participants who pass the test receive a certificate confirming their completion of the training. If the test fails, the participant receives a certificate confirming their participation only. Those wishing to participate in additional modules must repeat the training and retake the test.
Attention:
To participate in ADVANCED 1 level training, you must first complete BASIC level training. To participate in ADVANCED 2 level training, you must first complete ADVANCED 1 level training, and so on. The gap between training sessions should not exceed 3 months. If there is a gap of approximately 2-3 months, it is recommended to repeat the basic training at the level you most recently completed or attend a workshop at a level commensurate with the most recently completed basic training before applying for basic training at a higher level. If there is a gap of more than 3 months, it is required to repeat the basic training at the level you most recently completed or attend a workshop at a level commensurate with the most recently completed basic training before applying for basic training at a higher level.
IMPROVEMENT TRAINING – a one-day training session for those who have received a certificate confirming completion of the ADVANCED 3 level of training. During this session, participants have the opportunity, under the supervision of an instructor, to refine pistol shooting skills acquired during previous training courses that require further development. Each participant has approximately 10 thematic blocks at their disposal, from which they select one to practice specific shooting skills during the training session. The final scope of training is agreed upon with each participant immediately before the training begins, taking into account the needs expressed by all participants.
NIGHT TRAINING – an additional module, a one-day training course designed for those who have obtained a certificate confirming completion of the ADVANCED 3 level training and wish to acquire or develop skills in the use of a carbine. During the training, participants have the opportunity to learn how to fire in low-visibility conditions and at night, using weapon-integrated (tactical) flashlights.
